Common questions
How do I save without opening the app?
Say “Save to Interruptible” to Siri, then say what you were doing and what’s next. The same action is in the Shortcuts app under Interruptible, and you can put it on the Action Button: Settings › Action Button › Shortcut.
How do I hear where I left off?
Say “What was I doing in Interruptible?” Siri reads back what’s under You left off, next step first, exactly as you wrote it. It only works on an unlocked iPhone, so on a locked phone Siri asks you to unlock it first.
Can I ask in my own words?
Yes, with a personal shortcut. Apple requires the app’s name in its built-in phrases, so this is the way around it. Open Shortcuts and tap +, add the action What Was I Doing? from Interruptible, and name the shortcut what you’ll say, like “Get me back on track.” Siri answers to that name, and the Action Button can run it too. The steps are also in the app under About.
How do reminders work?
Before you save, tap + Remind me and pick 1 minute, 15 minutes, 1 hour or tomorrow. You get one notification with your words, and it doesn’t repeat. Your words stay saved until you toss them. No reminder showed up? Check Settings › Notifications › Interruptible.
What’s free?
Your first 5 returns. A return is coming back to something you saved: opening it, keeping it or tossing it. Each saved item counts once, and tossing it doesn’t give a return back. After those 5, saving something new needs the purchase. Reading, searching and tossing what you’ve saved always stay free.
What does the purchase get me?
One purchase unlocks Interruptible for good. It’s paid once: no subscription, no renewal, and every update is included. The App Store shows the price before you buy. Buy it from the ··· button on Home, then Buy Interruptible.
I already bought it. How do I get it back?
Open About and tap Restore Purchase, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. That works on a new iPhone too.
How do I delete my data?
Toss anything you saved to delete it. Deleting the app deletes everything it saved. Nothing is stored anywhere we can reach, so there’s nothing to ask us to delete. See the Privacy Policy for how iPhone backups fit in.
Does it work on iPad, Mac or Android?
Not yet. Interruptible is for iPhone.
